Bentuk-bentuk Dekadensi Akhlak Peserta Didik Tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Era 5.0

Abstract

Moral decadence in junior high school students in the 5.0 era is increasingly becoming a major concern in the world of education. Era 5.0 places technology as an integral part of people's lives, which should facilitate and improve the quality of human life, including in education. This study aims to identify and analyze the forms of moral decadence that occur among junior high school students in the 5.0 era, which is marked by the rapid advancement of digital technology and its impact on adolescent social behavior. Moral decadence, which refers to the decline in ethical values and social norms, has become an increasingly relevant issue in the context of education. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach at Al-Azhar 32 Islamic Junior High School in Padang. The research data was collected through direct interviews with several informants such as teachers, parents and administrative staff with purposive sampling technique. To strengthen the interview data, the author made observations by coming directly to the place of the observed activities. All interview results were then analyzed using the Milles and Huberman pattern. The results showed that significant forms of moral decadence include lack of responsibility, lack of ethics, negative influence of social media, adab in speaking and littering due to loss of responsibility. This research is expected to provide insight for related parties to formulate solutions in overcoming the problem of moral decadence among adolescents, especially in the school environment.
