Penguatan Akhlak Siswa melalui Program Tahfizh Al-Qur’an di MIM Adab Baleharjo

Abstract

The Tahfizhul Qur’an program plays a pivotal role in shaping students’ moral character, aligning with the broader need for character education in Islamic elementary schools. This study aims to describe the contribution of the program to character formation at MIM Adab Baleharjo. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the tahfizh program not only enhances students’ ability to memorize the Qur’an but also significantly contributes to moral development, as reflected in improved discipline in worship, honesty, responsibility, and social awareness both at school and at home. Supporting factors include the religious school environment, teacher role modeling, and parental involvement. The study concludes that the Tahfizhul Qur’an program represents an effective strategy for cultivating a generation with strong Islamic character and noble morals.
