Pendampingan KKN Universitas Teknologi Mataram di Desa “MasMas” Kabupaten Lombok Tengah

Abstract

The Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata or KKN) of Universitas Teknologi Mataram (UTM) was implemented in Desa Masmas, Kecamatan Batukliang Utara, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, under the theme “Utilization of Renewable Energy and Minimal Land for Community Productivity and Health.” The program involved two academic supervisors and ten students, and was conducted over a one-month period from February 17 to March 17, 2025. The program commenced with the handover of KKN students to the local village government at the Masmas Village Office, establishing a partnership for the initiative. The KKN team conducted direct observations to identify both community challenges and local governmental potentials. Problems were then inventoried and categorized by field and nature to enable more targeted activity planning. The program focused on the use of renewable energy and the optimization of limited land to enhance economic productivity and public health. This initiative is expected to make a tangible contribution to community empowerment through educational, innovative, and sustainable approaches.
